Who We Are
Freddy Delgado is an accomplished and certified English and Spanish language instructor who began his teaching career in Costa Rica in the late 1980s. Over nearly four decades, he has held various roles, including positions at private schools and as a freelance educator. His dynamic communicative approach and innovative use of realia methods have positively impacted hundreds of students.
Professional Development and Teaching Philosophy
Freddy is dedicated to refining his teaching techniques, demonstrating a strong commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement in his instructional practices. For the past seven years, he and his family have made their home in the picturesque town of La Garita. The area's serene environment, vibrant landscapes, and their family's commitment to environmental stewardship inspired him to establish El Bosque de Español. This family-owned initiative focuses on training skilled Spanish language teachers who provide effective instruction and immerse foreign students and expatriates in Costa Rican culture while promoting decarbonization sustainable ecological practices. Freddy's dedication to education embodies a broader commitment to fostering cultural understanding and environmental sustainability through learning the Spanish language.
